MEET DR EBONY GILBEE

I am a doctor specialising in women’s health and someone who genuinely loves working with women and families through every stage of their reproductive journey. And I believe healthcare works best when it feels like a partnership. So you feel informed, heard, and supported.

I often describe myself as a cheerleader in labour – I’m there to cheer you on and support you and your body (however you need) from the sidelines. However, be assured, whenever there is any concern regarding the safety of mum and/or bub, or you need more reassurance from me, I wll be there front and centre.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mum. That part of my life helps me see each patient not just as a case but as a person with a whole world of her own.

I think it is fair to say I am silly, I try not to take myself too seriously, and I have been known to sing/dance as needed for distraction/entertainment purposes. Once you meet me you will soon learn I love the colour pink, chocolate, coffee, online shopping at random hours and listening to podcasts.

I take a flexible, holistic approach that looks at the whole picture including your health, your preferences, your emotional wellbeing, and your goals.

After a rocky start to the pregnancy, filled with uncertainty and a high-risk diagnosis, we were desperate for consistent, compassionate, and knowledgeable care—and Dr. Gilbee provided exactly that and more.

She even diagnosed and carefully managed rare and complex findings like placenta accreta and a pronounced bicornuate uterus with incredible professionalism.
